How Does Our Multi-step Cleaning and Sanitization Process Work?
MedTech US created a unique multiple step cleaning and sanitization process. Our team uses this process for cleaning medical equipment such as gurneys, wheel chairs, or food and nutrition service equipment. This process is efficient and effective and gives our team the ability to thoroughly clean each item, and track the cleaning process with various checks and balances we have in place. Our skilled professionals are trained to clean and disinfect in a certain way to ensure our process runs smooth.
MedTech US Cleaning process
- MedTech US schedules appointments with each client ahead of time to perform regular cleanings. Depending on the location our customers let us know what date and time they prefer, and we always try and accommodate our customers with flexible scheduling.
- MedTech US has a designated space for cleaning that is assigned by the location we are servicing. Typically we do work with a technician at each location to ensure the process runs smoothly.
- Our first step is to take each piece of equipment and spray it using our electrostatic spray gun. This gun sprays an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces and objects to coat the surface. We use FDA approved hospital grade cleaning solutions, and our solution is safe to both humans and animals.
- While we spray the equipment we use a rotating style to ensure we hit each area of the equipment such as wheels, or under covers. If parts need to be removed in order to clean thoroughly our team will do that also.
- Once the equipment is sprayed the first time, we then take the sanitized equipment and prepare it to be deep cleaned with a pressure washer machine.
- The next step is to allow the equipment to dry thoroughly.
- Once the equipment is dry we inspect each item and apply lubricants or hardware for repair if needed. This helps to extend the life of equipment and avoids the facility costly equipment replacement.
- Our team checks the equipment one last time to make sure everything is lubricated and working properly. We then hit each piece of equipment again with our electrostatic sanitizing spray gun.
During our process we inspect each piece of equipment three times and sanitize each piece of equipment two different times. Once our process is complete each piece of equipment is moved back into the facility, and recorded using serial numbers to keep track of what has been sanitized. This process holds both our team and the facility accountable. Our multi-step cleaning process ensures that each piece of equipment is cleaned and disinfected thoroughly as well as repaired and ready to be used again.
